This production (which may be Australian) uses a script originally heard on "The Witch's Tale" on September 26, 1932 (as "The Hairy Monster"), on December 31, 1934 (as "The Monster") on June 20, 1935 (as "Mrs. Hawker's Will") and April 5, 1938 (as "The Monster"). Based on a comparison of Nancy's "ages" on the recording compared to the actual scripts used in 1932, 1935 and 1938, the script and recording appear to be from 1934, but only "Old Nancy" knows for sure. |
